Why did you choose to participate in SOLUTRANS 2023?
Carrier Transicold is one of the leaders in its sector; taking part in SOLUTRANS, which ranks among the world's leading trade fairs in the sector, is an opportunity for us to meet our customers and present our refrigeration systems designed to reduce emissions and improve reliability, by offering our customers low-carbon solutions, advanced connectivity and visibility.
This 17th edition focuses on sustainable solutions for a greener transportation industry. The latest innovations we will be showcasing this year are in line with these issues, as they aim to perfectly adapt to environmental and connectivity challenges to increase the efficiency of the refrigerated transport sector and help reduce its emissions.
What opportunity does this represent for your company?
As the world crossroads for industrial and urban vehicles, SOLUTRANS expects 50,000 visits from professionals for this 2023 edition, which suggests a strong interest from all market players.
Participating in SOLUTRANS 2023 is an opportunity for us to demonstrate that we are experts and leaders in truck refrigeration technologies and services.
Our commitment to innovation continues today with a renewed focus on creating solutions that will change the world for the better, as we continue to develop and launch products that improve efficiency, performance and sustainability, including reducing fuel consumption. We are proud to say that with our current lineup, we offer an electric solution for 100% of the trucks and semi-trailers on the road.
At Carrier Transicold, we prioritize solutions that address the challenges presented by the mega-trends of urbanization, climate change and the food needs of the world's growing population. By 2030, Carrier's goal is to reduce our customers' carbon footprint by more than a gigatonne and we are putting in place all the necessary actions to achieve this ambitious goal.
What will be your news at the show?
Following the development of the eCool series, which offers our customers fully decarbonized and connected electric solutions, we have been working with the equipment manufacturer Bosch to develop the Vector® HE 19 powered by a hydrogen fuel cell. Our main objective is to offer ranges equivalent to diesel solutions, with equivalent recharge times. This unit can be fitted to all types of refrigerated semi-trailers, regardless of the body builder or manufacturer, including retrofits.
