THE FOUNDING COMMITTEE OF THE LYON EXHIBITION CENTER (COFIL)

The Comité Fondateur du Parc des Expositions de Lyon (COFIL), created in 1921 by Édouard Herriot, brings together several Lyon-based players (MEDEF Lyon-Rhône, CPME du Rhône, CMA Lyon-Rhône, Métropole de Lyon, SYTRAL Mobilités, Mairie de Chassieu) and is the owner of the Lyon Exhibition Centre. Initially dedicated to the development of the Lyon Sample Fair, it broadened its missions in 1982 to support the EUREXPO LYON project, act as project manager and promote its development.
